H-O-H.me, or H2Ome, is an adventure platformer game where players control a single drop of water as the protagonist. The name H2Ome combines the chemical formula for water (H2O) with the word "Home," which was the theme of the 2019 Global Game Jam.

In the game, players navigate levels by changing the water's state between liquid, ice cube, and gas forms. Various elements in the game, such as heat waves and light sources, allow players to interact and alter the water's state. By strategically utilizing these transformations, players can overcome obstacles and enemies while progressing through the levels.

The objective is to reach different end points based on the water state achieved at the end of the game. The simple yet complex mechanics of the game highlight the true nature of water and challenge players to think creatively.

Our team collaborated over a two-day period to create this home-themed game jam entry. We are excited to share our creation with the gaming community.
