Let's Not Die
Our team played an integral role in assisting our client with the development of a prototype game set in an apocalyptic world teeming with a variety of formidable enemies. Originally conceived as a board game, Let's Not Die underwent a successful transformation into a digital format, emerging as a thrilling 4-player competitive co-op survival shooter. Throughout the development process, our team's contributions were extensive and diverse. We were responsible for creating captivating concept art that helped shape the game's visual direction, including the design of characters and environments. In pre-production, we engaged in the essential task of rough scene blockout, ensuring a solid foundation for subsequent development stages. Our team also undertook the task of creating detailed character turnarounds, which served as the basis for modeling the playable characters using industry-standard software such as Maya. This meticulous process involved adapting the turnarounds to align with the desired art style, and subsequently, executing precise re-topology for all four characters. The re-topology work was then passed on to our Art Lead, who skillfully executed UV mapping and texture application, resulting in visually appealing and high-quality character models. During the post-production phase, our team focused on rigging the characters, a critical step in enabling fluid movement and interaction in the game. We also managed and fine-tuned the animations, which were created by a team of talented animators. This collaborative effort ensured that the characters moved realistically and seamlessly, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
